Zero regrets! This robot cleans my entire pool from top to bottom. Saves me so much time and effort!
Does a GREAT job and cleans the water line. It does miss a few spots (mostly in the corners). I picked up a cheap wall/corner scrubber and that gets what's missed.
The Dolphin S2000 (Wally as we named it) is as simple to operate as it gets. Plug in the master controller and connect the chord from the robot and drop it in the water. Use the mobile app to set cleaning mode and press start. It’s that simple. What I’m really impressed with is the way it removes the grit from all the surfaces including the walls, and I also noticed my tiles are brighter than usual before using the Dolphin. It does a great job job in the main stairs and the pool looks awesome. Hope you check out my video.
This is our first pool robot. It cleans the pool well and is a lot of fun to watch. So long to the vacuum pole and that unruly hose. Wish I would have bought one sooner.
I had watched several videos of other Matronic robots, but Pelican reviews were great. They listed the pros and cons of each robot. I was able to speak with them on the phone because I live in Florida. They were very helpful and helped me make the best choice for my pool. They shipped it the next day. I love the fact that they warrantied my product and will pay for shipping to them if there should be a problem. I highly recommend them.
My Dolphin robot definitely has made my pool cleaning job so much easier. After 11 years of wrangling vacuum hoses, connecting to my sand filter and pump and manually vacuuming for hours on end I finally got a robot. I have not had to manually vacuum since it arrived. I wish I had bought one sooner. My pool is 30’ round and I usually let it run through a 3 hour cleaning cycle daily or every other day. The manual drive function doesn’t work that well. I do wish it would climb the wall for me to pick up when it finishes instead of me having to pull it up to the surface with the cord. I tried to use the manual drive feature for that but it is too much trouble and takes too long. The cord does get a little tangled but it isn’t hard to unwind. I do take the robot out of the pool, untangle and hang the cord nicely, rinse the unit and cover after each use. It was quite expensive so I want it to last a long time! Overall I am happy with the robot.

Great robot. No regrets. Does the job
Installed S2000 a couple of weeks ago. Cleans extremely well. It replaced an S200. I very much prefer the S2000 over the S200 because it allows for scheduling cleaning for many weeks in advance versus one week at a time for the S200.
My pool has never been so clean! Very easy to set up and use, quickly cleans my pool, and almost no effort. We have an outdoor inground pool (no screening), so debris is a constant. We used to have a Kreepy Krauly that did a reasonable job but not able to do the hot tub area nor any good on the walls. It also required a lot of set up, tear down, and cleaning the pool filter afterwards. Now we are spoiled to having a spotless pool and hot tub all the time!

Robot works great and is exactly what I needed. Appreciate the knowledge of the staff in making sure I got the appropriate one.
Does a good job cleaning my pool, and picking up that fine dirt and upper walls very good suction, it does get caught on my drain though.

It's nothing that Pelican shops did. The Dolphin S2000 is just a piece of garbage. It does a lousy job picking up leaves as well as sand. It also does a lousy job of scrubbing after a light algae bloom. It is light so when it changes directions it kind of does a wheely and is not on the pool floor. It cannot climb my pool steps. It often flips over when trying to climb the walls and then will try to right itself. Sometimes it works and sometimes it just stops its cycle. After 19 years with a Dolphin Diagnostic that did a fantastic job I thought I couldn't go wrong with another Maytronics cleaner. Boy was I wrong! This thing is just garbage! A total waste of money. Unfortunately, I didn't have my pool open when I bought it and by the time I found out just how bad it is the return window had closed.

The ordering process online with Pelican shops was easy, fast and accurate. The Dolphin S2000 works great in our 20K+ gallon pool. It picks up multiple small leaves still on a little branch to fine silt. The operating system couldn't be easier: Connect the power supply to an outlet, connect to the S2000 and put it in the pool. That's it. It runs for about 2.5 hours. As suggested by a technician at Pelican I remove it from the pool when it's finished. I highly recommend Pelican shops and the Dolphin S2000.

Pelican was great to work with. I found there helpful videos on line. Then went to the website which was easy to understand and then since I live in Florida I decided to call. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Even though they are in NJ and I’m in Florida this was a great purchase for me and they stand behind their products.
Works wonderfully
It has potential but im very disappointed, first there are several places online that say this robot has a pickup mode/button, it does not, secondly it claims it has smart navigation/mapping HA! What a joke, that feature either doesn't work or its dump as a box of rocks, this is the issue im most disappointed in and ready to return due to it, it literally on every single cycle no matter what goes behind my steps, gets stuck and shuts down, absolutely useless, it it had legitimate navigation or mapping it wouldn't keep doing this and its not open back there, I have bars on each side of steps that kept last robot out but this one just forces itself through and up and over the bars and can't get back out ,this pos needs memory mapping to avoid this crap which I thought it had but apparently it does not, thrid the latch for the basket compartment keeps sticking and have to play with it to open. 4th the tracks constantly make a popping sound, not sure if this is normal and lastly the first one arrived completely broke and cracked, atleast they quickly sent a replacement, it does clean the floor, walls and water line great but it massively needs memory mapping and real navigation not whatever joke system it has now
I did a lot of research on pool robots. I was set on a cordless model. But after reading your information I realized that the dolphin corded model was the right one for my pool. It cleans my pool spotless. I’ve used a Polaris pressure model for years. My son saw this and is buying one for his pool. Thank you for the detailed comparison chart and usage advice!
I'd love to give 5 stars, but that would mean perfection. The folks at Pelican Shops are fantastic. They get 5 stars. There is one issue with the S2000, so 4 stars. And from what I've seen, pretty much all these robots have this problem. It gets hung up on the pool floor drains. It'll get high centered, and the treads just spin, but are not touching anything. Maybe Maytronics could design a periodic water jet from the bottom to lift it a bit. That might get it repositioned so the treads can grab something and get it moving again. It is still the best pool cleaner I've ever had.

This Dolphin does a pretty good job cleaning my pool. First let me say the pool is Grecian and octagon shaped, 18x36’ fairly large. It has a lot of corners, six different walls meet together in the bottom sloping in from the walls to 8.5’ depth. The cleaner even with an active brush cannot get into these. I would not advise a cleaner without an active brush (meaning it rotates constantly & doesn’t rely on forward motion to move it). One active bush is good, 2 is better yet. It does seem to miss overall areas at times & it takes mine the longest run time setting to do the job. This is my first electric cleaner so I have nothing to compare to. My plan was to clean once weekly taking in & out. That’s not sufficient. It still keeps me from having to brush & vacuum the entire pool so that’s why I gave it a 4.
I watched the viedo on pool vacuums and felt much more informed and your warranty and ability to service it and cover shipping cinched the deal. Very happy with my purchase
It does a good job, but when it goes up the wall sometimes when it gets to the top, it just stays way too long. I would actually like to know if there is a way to disable it being able to go up the walls.

It’s just too big and heavy for me. I should have paid more attention to this while doing my research. It also does miss floor debris. It’s in the pool for 2.5-3 hrs at times and seems to still miss floor debris.

I did a lot of research on the internet and was impressed with the Dolphin shops information on all pool vacuums. I called and decided on the S2000 and it arrived in two days. Easy to install and the pool has never looked as good. The machine is easy to use with the wifi option.
