I wasted too many years fussing with vacuum type pool sweeps! The EOS 120d is so neat and performs so well. The ONE app is cumbersome, but you don’t need it: ‘just push the front mounted buttons on the EOS, select the task you want and drop it in your pool’. Recharging the batteries is easy and fast. Also, the EOS 120d is easy to charge and store: Just stand it on its hind legs and put it on a strong lower shelf!
The customer service was exceptional. All my questions and concerns were addressed promptly and always to my complete satisfaction. The guys were informative, super pleasant and always helpful. I will not buy a pool cleaner anywhere else in the future!
I love this thing for what I wanted it to do, but the extra stuff it was supposed to be good at are not so great. My pool is a rectangle and I don't have a screen or any trees close by. It cleans it great, and the filter material is really good. Also, love the cordless thing, seems to do a great job of cleaning the pool and getting the water line. It's not that great at some of the extra stuff. First the WiFi is terrible, it will not stay connected to the wifi, for some reason. Tried a couple of times to fix it but gave up on it. The clicker that you can use to bring the cleaner to you, doesn't work as advertised. The wording makes you think it will come to you when you use the clicker, it doesn't do that. It will just try to go up to the closest wall. That's fine but wish came to where the clicker was.
So far so good. Results look great, no issues with wifi or anything else. App works perfectly as well. My pool has a screen covering the entire deck but debris, bugs and other stuff can get in when the doors are open. I feel great about this purchase.
My pool has never been cleaner.
So far, "Rocky" the pool robot is doing well after 3 pool cleaning sessions. He is definitely cleaning my pool better than I can. Let's hope that reliability for the machine holds. 3 year warranty, so we'll see...
A corded pool robot doesn't work in my situation so I went for the cordless, battery powered option. After a month of use, I've found it easy to configure and use and have had no problems connecting with the app or to my home network. The noisemaker to "summon" the robot to the surface works well and makes for easy retrieval. Cleaning the filter "box" is also easy once you learn you can remove the side panels to clean each individually both front and back which takes a couple minutes at most. While somewhat bulky, it's manageable and not too heavy to carry. I use it twice a week with each run in automatic, maze mode which takes about two hours and the battery shows 2/3 power remaining when done. This is my first pool robot and I'm pleased with my purchase thus far. I like not having to brush as much and it's working well to keep sand and grit from accumulating in my pool here in Arizona.
The cordless robot is an adjustment from the corded one I previously owned. It does not reliably respond to the clicker to return to the surface. It does not automatically reconnect to WiFi once out of the water so I lose all of the mapping and session information in the app. I have concerns with the rubber stopper that is inserted to prevent water from getting into the charging port, I am afraid it will not take long for that to fail.
